English Classes

Vision
We are committed at having a place where non-English speakers are welcome and cared for.  We seek to provide not only quality English teaching but also an opportunity to experience true Christian Community where friendships are nurtured and needs are met.

 

Program
We offer a free English Program, where students are orally examined to determine their proficiency level and then placed in the corresponding class which suites them. The course consists of 3 semesters over the course of one year. Upon completion of the 3 semesters the students receive a  diploma of completion. The classes are once or twice a week depending on the time of the year. We also have parties, fun days and outreach activities during each semester.

 

Students
Our students range from their mid-teen years to adults in their 60’s. They come to us from all over the Panchoy Valley.

 

Volunteer Opportunities
We are always looking for Teachers and Assistants. Our prerequisites are that they are practicing Christians and believe in Iglesia Del Camino's “Statement of Beliefs”. It is expected that they commit themselves to at least 1 semester for reasons of continuity for the students, as well any training sessions and regular meetings.
